The Nicholas Deakins designer range was established just over 10 years ago following the recognition of the design work of Craig Nicholas Tate, then studying for a degree in fashion and textile, by English manufacturer W.J. Brookes. The smart/casual stylish and eminently wearable range of men’s clothes and shoes caught on straight away and became a hit with clubbers, those on the terraces, and people recognising quality designer clothing with panache and individuality. It is no surprise that the label is now a global phenomenon, encompassing clothes, footwear and kids’ wear.
Deakins men’s footwear designs, such as the quilted-look ankle boot, display the label’s trademark virtuosity of taking a simple classic style and giving it something extra and unexpected to bring a smile to your face and nod in appreciation of the twist.
